In New Orleans, Max is a part of various jazz groups, either playing the piano, singing, or both. He currently accompanies students at Loyola University New Orleans and teaches piano at the Chase Conservatory for Musical Arts. Max also works with local theatre companies in New Orleans, having music/vocal directed productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Urinetown, Grease, The View UpStairs, and Sweet Potato Queens. Max serves as Music Director and pianist/organist for St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Metairie, LA.
